Croasdaile Village has been amazing for my grandfather in the Pavilion! The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure he’s comfortable and well-cared for. The rehab services are top-notch, and he’s made fantastic progress. The amenities are wonderful, with plenty of activities and beautiful surroundings to enjoy. It's a relief knowing he's in such a great place!

I've lived here for 2 years and 9 months and count my blessings twice daily. As I go to bed at night and as I arise each morning I reflect on how grateful I am to be here. The community (residents and staff) is welcoming and wonderful. While there are certainly things that could be improved, the same could be said of any place. We are not the only CCRC to suffer staffing shortages and the resultant challenges that come from that, but the majority of the staff work tirelessly to ensure we are safe, well fed and enjoying our beautiful surroundings. There are good reasons we landed in the top 200 CCRCs in the nation and the #3 CCRC in North Carolina. I am a proud Croasdaile Villager.

My husband and I were in our late 50s when we put our name on the list to call us in 16 years. We moved in exactly as planned at the age of 75 and we have lived here for over 10 years. My number one reason for being so happy with our choice is the number of wonderful people to care about. The list continues with the variety of classes and activities offered from American Sign Language, Pickleball, Mahjongg to Yoga, and many more in between. We live independently but know that that may not always be the case. If so, we are grateful in knowing that Croasdaile Village offers arrangements for home health care, physical therapy on site, assisted living, memory care and for skilled nursing. I am thankful on a daily basis for the opportunities to keep on moving, learning and living with intelligent, musical, intellectual neighbors. I also want to mention the location of Croasdaile Village. We live a mile from Duke Hospital, a couple from downtown Durham and yet it is as if we live in the country, with acres of woods, walking trails, a large pond which attracts ducks and nesting birds, deer, owls, and it is peaceful. It is a privilege to live here, and I will take every opportunity to sing its praises. Thank you!
